The Syren is the third of my completely "scratch" model ship projects (meaning there are no kit parts involved). Each and every piece of this ship was created in my shop.

Figure Head Carving
The name of the mermaid on the stem is "Syren".
Not completely satisfied with my carving skills yet. Still working on the technique.
